We will work on a classic, very interesting case study that describes an extreme situation in which a company needs to replace a mission critical legacy system and the survival of the company depends on the success of the project.
The CIO (your team) is asked to reflect on how things were done and what lessons can be obtained from that extreme experience. Imagine you had to present your report to the Executive Committee of the company as a post-implementation review of the project, what would you say? Finally, summarize your key conclusions in one page: What is the essence of this case, the main conclusion we can draw from this experience?
All students are expected to prepare a 6-8 page presentation summarizing their analysis and conclusions.
