Review chapter one of the course textbook.
Goals
This timed writing will be somewhat of a creative assignment. I don’t expect students to be masters of arguments and petitions! This is meant to activate your creative side and experience what it’s like to be a petition writer. You will get further instructions when you are ready to click begin.
Advisories
Time will start when you click begin and you will have 4 hours to complete it. It’s recommended that you write your response in a Word or Google Document to be sure it’s saved somewhere since technology isn’t always steady AND because you will need this writing again to complete another assignment! If you do use a Google doc, be sure to save it as a PDF for submission.
